Review: The Belles

The Belles was a beautiful book. It was written in a beautifully descriptive way but at times seemed a bit too much, too flowery and heavy on the vivid details and because of that, it took a while to really get to know the characters. The love story, for example, I think needed more time to develop and seemed a tad rushed. The world though was amazing, the story was so unique and different and interesting. The characters were great too the main character was likeable and the villain was dark, twisted and intriguing. I loved the story of the dark side of beauty and its twists and turns. By the end of the book, I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for a sequel.
